Why this traineeship matters
Were looking for a motivated and curiousTrainee Product Owner / Project Manager to grow into the bridge between our software project clients and development teams.This is a hands-on learning role. From day one youll be embedded in real projects working alongside experienced Project Managers UI/UX designers developers and QA engineers. Youll get structured mentorship real responsibility and a clear path to grow.
You report to and are mentored by our COO working within our team of Project Managers.
What youll learn & do
As you ramp up youll be progressively involved in:- Requirements & product concepts Support the engineering and documentation of business requirements in collaboration with clients (e.g. low-fidelity mockups & documentation in Confluence)
- Backlog management Learn to create maintain and prioritize development backlogs in Jira under the guidance of your mentor
- Project tracking Assist in planning and monitoring software development projects with respect to scope timeline and budget
- Agile ceremonies Participate in and gradually co-facilitate refinements planning sessions stand-ups demos and retrospectives
- Client communication Support documentation client reporting and product-related communication
- Workshops & meetings Shadow and then co-run recurring client meetings and feedback sessions
- Time & invoicing Get familiar with project time tracking and invoicing workflows
- Actively explore and apply the latest AI tools to continuously improve our software development and project management workflows.

- Communicative sociable and energetic personality
- Eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions
- Strong self-organization and a sense of ownershipeven as a beginner
- Good communication skills in English and German
Hard skills & background
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Business Informatics Computer Science Business Administration or a related field
- First exposure to software development projects (internships university projects or personal projects count)
- Curious about AI tools and how they can boost productivity
- Ability to structure and document thoughts clearly
- Any experience with agile methods Jira or Confluence is a plusbut not required
