Job Summary
Position: Program Manager Google Cloud Migration
Location: Raleigh NC (Hybrid must be within commuting distance to HQ)
Duration: 6 months contract (extension possible potential conversion to FTE)
Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST occasional weekends
Interview Process: 2 3 rounds
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) migration program. The candidate will coordinate across Advance Auto Parts Google and the system integration partner ensuring seamless execution governance and leadership reporting.
Responsibilities:
Lead multiple workstreams for GCP migration managing scope cost schedules and resources.
Act as the central liaison between AAP Google and SI partner.
Provide program level reporting risk management and executive updates.
Drive stakeholder engagement and change management across business units.
Supervise project managers and analysts delegating tasks and resolving complex issues.
Ensure compliance with governance frameworks policies and legal guidelines.
Must Have Skills:
Google Cloud migration experience (hands on program leadership).
PMP/PgMP/PRINCE2 or Agile (SAFe/Scrum)/Lean Six Sigma certifications.
Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting.
Experience with project management tools (MS Project Jira Smartsheet
Experience with project management tools (MS Project Jira Smartsheet Confluence ServiceNow ITBM).
10 18 years in IT Project/Program Management.
Good to Have Skills:
MBA or advanced degree.
Experience in retail IT systems and enterprise transformations.
Familiarity with Agile/Lean/6S principles.
