DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing all Wolf Trap Opera daily schedule and facilities and coordinating general company management and artist services.
- Supervising the WTO Daily Schedule and take responsibility for its creation management and dissemination.
- Collects information from the various constituent groups and uses independent judgement to prioritize requests based on WTO goals rehearsal space availability and other WTO and Foundation considerations.
- Works closely with Director Artistic Operations and Company Manager to execute WTO internal events; staffing event set up and hospitality needs.
- Assists with setup/strike for opening night parties seminars and pre-show talks. Manage all incoming mail and distribute as necessary.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Opera or related field plus 2-4 years experience in production administration within a professional arts organization.
- Knowledge of opera strong computer skills a valid drivers license and vehicle.
- Must be self-motivated detailed oriented and highly organized.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and the capacity to seek and synthesize information.
- Must be available to work 40-50 hours six days a week including evenings and weekends from May - August.
