Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Burner Operator to support kiln operations in a brick manufacturing environment. This Burner Operator role is critical to maintaining proper firing cycles ensuring product quality and supporting efficient plant operations.

What the Burner Operator Will Be Doing

Monitor and operate kiln burner systems according to established procedures
Adjust burner settings to maintain proper temperatures and firing cycles
Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
Accurately read and interpret gauges and measurements
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety quality and production standards

Required Qualifications for the Burner Operator

Excellent attendance and reliability
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Quick learner and self-starter
High schoollevel reading comprehension and math skills
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
Ability to work in a manufacturing and high-temperature environment
