Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Laser Operator located in Dallas Texas.
Reporting to the Fabrication Manager the Laser Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to precision-cut various materials ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.
Work Environment: Work in a manufacturing environment with laser cutting machines.
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
What a typical day looks like:
Set up operate and monitor laser cutting machines
Prepare materials for cutting ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
Inspect cut products for quality and accuracy
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating the machine
Identify and troubleshoot issues with the machine or cutting process.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience with laser cutting machines or similar equipment
Certifications in laser cutting or CNC machining preferred
Experience with laser cutting machines and software
Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality products
Understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing pushing pulling lifting and carrying materials.
Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time
Must wear PPE such as gloves safety glasses hard hat and ear protection while working on the production floor
