Job Summary

Senior Cloud Engineer / Tech Lead (Senior) Duration: 36 months (possible extension)

Goal: Define technical direction guide the team and contribute to features and architecture.

Core Responsibilities
Act as mentor and go-to person for the engineering team

Sparring partner for the Product Owner (roadmap priorities risks)

Contribute to features and complex technical deliverables

Define the how for feature implementation

Act as point of contact for other teams; navigate organizational politics

Bridge business security and engineering

Ensure quality security and architectural decisions

Review code IaC and architecture proposals

Required Knowledge & Experience

Minimum 5 years AWS experience

Networking (VPC TGW PrivateLink routing)

Databases (RDS/Aurora DynamoDB MongoDB)

Landing zones (Control Tower multi-account patterns)

Terraform (modules state management reviews)

CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab)

At least one programming language (Python Go TypeScript)

Architecture design (HLD/LLD)

Security best practices

AWS Professional certification (mandatory)

Tooling & Technical Skills

Terraform (must)

GitHub/GitLab CI/CD

CloudWatch X-Ray monitoring/observability

GitOps workflows (branching PR reviews drift detection)

Soft Skills

Leadership without hierarchy (social leadership)

Strong stakeholder management

Able to set direction and justify decisions

Helps team grow in quality autonomy and speed

Politically sensitive and collaborative
