PCB & Hardware Design Engineer Power Electronics
As a PCB & Hardware Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing testing and optimizing advanced power and control PCBs used in our IoT and embedded product lines.
Design multi-layer PCBs for high-performance and power electronic systems using Altium Designer or equivalent tools.
Develop and validate analog digital and power circuits (>400V >50A) ensuring safety efficiency and reliability.
Perform schematic design signal & power integrity (SI/PI) analysis and thermal management to minimize noise EMI/EMC and ripple issues.
Collaborate with R&D Mechanical and Production teams to ensure manufacturability and design accuracy.
Conduct DRC DFM and DFT reviews.
Generate complete manufacturing documentation (Gerber files BOMs assembly drawings stack-ups).
Maintain accurate and updated PCB component libraries including footprints and 3D models.
Support prototype testing troubleshooting and smooth transition to mass production.
B.E./ in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
3 years of experience in PCB design and hardware development including at least 1 year in Power Electronics (EV chargers motor drives inverters or power supplies).
Proficiency in Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools.
Strong understanding of high-voltage / high-current PCB design transformer/inductor placement and power plane optimization.
Familiarity with communication protocols: SPI I2C UART RS-485 CAN.
Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-2221 IPC-A-600 etc.) and EMC/EMI design principles.
Hands-on experience in circuit testing debugging and validation.
Strong problem-solving documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) or Vehicle Control Units (VCU).
Exposure to automotive or industrial electronics standards.
Familiarity with simulation tools for thermal SI and PI analysis.
