Position:

PCB & Hardware Design Engineer Power Electronics

Key Responsibilities

As a PCB & Hardware Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing testing and optimizing advanced power and control PCBs used in our IoT and embedded product lines.

• Design multi-layer PCBs for high-performance and power electronic systems using Altium Designer or equivalent tools.
  

• Develop and validate analog digital and power circuits (>400V >50A) ensuring safety efficiency and reliability.
  

• Perform schematic design signal & power integrity (SI/PI) analysis and thermal management to minimize noise EMI/EMC and ripple issues.
  

• Collaborate with R&D Mechanical and Production teams to ensure manufacturability and design accuracy.
  

• Conduct DRC DFM and DFT reviews.
  

• Generate complete manufacturing documentation (Gerber files BOMs assembly drawings stack-ups).
  

• Maintain accurate and updated PCB component libraries including footprints and 3D models.
  

• Support prototype testing troubleshooting and smooth transition to mass production.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.E./ in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
  

• 3 years of experience in PCB design and hardware development including at least 1 year in Power Electronics (EV chargers motor drives inverters or power supplies).
  

• Proficiency in Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools.
  

• Strong understanding of high-voltage / high-current PCB design transformer/inductor placement and power plane optimization.
  

• Familiarity with communication protocols: SPI I2C UART RS-485 CAN.
  

• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-2221 IPC-A-600 etc.) and EMC/EMI design principles.
  

• Hands-on experience in circuit testing debugging and validation.
  

• Strong problem-solving documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

• Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) or Vehicle Control Units (VCU).
  

• Exposure to automotive or industrial electronics standards.
  

• Familiarity with simulation tools for thermal SI and PI analysis.
