This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Real Estate Financial Modeling & Underwriting Analyst to support underwriting and financial analysis for real estate investment opportunities. This role focuses on Excel-based financial modeling deal underwriting and consistent analytical support across projects.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in real estate financial analysis thrives in structured environments values accuracy and consistency and communicates clearly in English. Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours is required.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain Excel-based underwriting models for real estate transactions
Analyze property-level financials including income expenses NOI cash flow and returns
Model debt assumptions loan scenarios DSCR cash-on-cash returns IRR and exit scenarios
Perform sensitivity analyses on rent growth exit cap rates expenses and financing terms
Support underwriting for multifamily and other real estate investment projects
Assist with investment analysis and risk assessment
Review rent rolls T-12s operating statements and supporting documentation
Ensure consistency and accuracy across financial models and assumptions
Document underwriting assumptions clearly for internal review
Communicate findings professionally and implement feedback accurately
Requirements
Strong experience in real estate financial modeling and underwriting
Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas logical functions structured models)
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
High attention to detail and analytical accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple analyses
Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours
