Job Summary


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organizedMortgage Loan Closerto join our this role you will be responsible for preparing reviewing and ensuring the timely and accurate closing of residential mortgage loans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mortgage documentation compliance requirements and closing procedures ensuring a smooth transition from underwriting to funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review closing documents in accordance with loan approval terms investor guidelines and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate loan closings with title companies attorneys borrowers lenders and internal departments.
  • Verify loan data including loan amount interest rate and fees to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure all closing conditions are met prior to disbursement.
  • Issue and manage Closing Disclosures (CDs) and final settlement statements.
  • Perform funding authorization and coordinate disbursement of funds.
  • Communicate regularly with loan officers processors underwriters and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely closings.
  • Maintain complete and accurate loan files in accordance with company and investor requirements.
  • Keep current on federal state and investor regulations related to loan closings.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
  • 2 years of mortgage closing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential loan closing documents and procedures (Conventional FHA VA USDA).
  • Familiarity with TRID and other applicable compliance regulations.
  • Experience with mortgage loan origination systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
