The Funding Internship is an immersive 18-month program beginning in the Spring semester. Over the course of the program you will rotate through four key areas within the Funding Department gaining hands-on experience and developing a strong foundation of technical and professional skills.
This internship will be part-time during the Spring and Fall semesters and full-time during the Summer semester.
This is a professional corporate role based in an on-site work environment offering the opportunity to collaborate as part of a dynamic and fast-paced team. Interns will gain exposure to the broader business and develop professional skills that align with a corporate finance and operations setting.
Because the program extends through the summer participants will also take part in JM Familys Summer Internship Program which includes engaging activities networking events and professional development opportunities.
Upon graduation interns will be evaluated for a full-time role within the department based on performance and business needs. This program also serves as a pathway to broader opportunities across JM Familys Finance and Operations functions offering valuable experience that can lead to continued growth within the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Accurately and promptly enter and review retail and lease contracts using the automated contract processing system.
Ensure all contracts are processed to completion within one day of receipt in compliance with company policies procedures and State and Federal regulations.
Support management with additional tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration Office Administration/Business Technology Legal Studies or a related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Adaptability to shifting priorities and changing business needs
A high degree of independence and accountability
Comfort working in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment
Ability to learn new systems and processes
Proficient data entry skills; ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems quickly
Proficiency with basic mathematical operations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work overtime or holidays as needed
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
