About Us
Caboolture Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical and medical hospital situated in the outer Northern reaches of Brisbane - at the southern end of the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Caboolture Private is a Preferred Tier 1 Department of Veterans Affairs accredited hospital which allows Veterans to have immediate access to the facilities without in most cases the need for prior approval.
This hospital has 43 beds 3 fully equipped operating theatres a 12 chair Day Procedure Unit and a comfortable day oncology unit. The Hospital is collocated with Caboolture Public Hospital.
The Hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with over 70 Australian sites employing over 34000 people. We have been focused on delivering high-quality patient care and practising the Ramsay Way philosophy of People Caring for People since 1964.
About our Volunteer Program
We are looking to build a small team of volunteers who will be allocated throughout the hospital to undertake a variety of valuable patient family or carer support roles.
We offer flexible shift times and days.
Some example volunteer activities include:
Welcome and escorting from front reception.
Tea and coffee making on wards.
Compilation of welcome packs.
Distributing reading material etc.
Requirements
Must be able to provide immunity to Measles Mumps Rubella and Varicella.
