Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a skilled Assistant Technical Manager to support technical operations and maintenance activities across our managed facilities portfolio. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with supervisory responsibilities ensuring optimal performance of building systems while supporting the Site Lead in delivering exceptional facilities management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Operations Support Assist in overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC electrical plumbing fire safety and UPS. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of building equipment and infrastructure. Support implementation of maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with OEM recommendations and industry standards.

Maintenance Coordination Coordinate daily maintenance activities and work order management through CAFM systems. Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and installations. Ensure all work is completed safely efficiently and in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.

System Monitoring and Troubleshooting Monitor building management systems (BMS) and energy management platforms to identify operational issues and optimization opportunities. Perform diagnostic troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems. Assist in emergency response procedures and after-hours support as required.

Compliance and Safety Support regulatory compliance initiatives including environmental health and safety requirements. Assist in maintaining equipment certifications permits and inspection records. Ensure adherence to JLL safety protocols and client-specific safety procedures across all technical operations.

Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities equipment performance and system modifications. Prepare technical reports and performance summaries for management review. Support budget planning by providing input on equipment lifecycle planning and capital improvement recommendations.
