Campus Veterinary Clinic in Berkley CA is hiring an Associate Veterinarian for our full-service animal hospital located in Berkley CA that sees dogs cats pocket pets guinea pigs and exotics. Its clean organized and equipped with advanced tools and technologies to provide the highest standard of care a variety of cases. We have perfected the art of work-life balance while delivering exceptional customer service evident in our positive online reviews. Clinic Snapshot

Practice type:Small Animal General Practice primarily with cats dogs and some pocket pets and exotics with focus on wellness and preventative medicine with urgent and emergency care.
Avg. daily patient volume:16 per DVM
Support staff ratio:3 : 1 DVM
Case mix:Some of our services include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. We have a big focus on pet wellness and preventative cases providing vaccinations microchipping dental care behavior counseling radiology lab work testing urgent and emergency care and a comprehensive in-house pharmacy.
Technology & equipment: Ultrasound digital radiography digital dental radiography in-house labs etc.
Team culture: The Campus Pet Clinic staff is dedicated to excellent patient care client communication and teamwork which makes it a great environment for a veterinarian to fully utilize their medicine and surgery skills. Currently we have multiple techs and assistants and three highly skilled hardworking and kind DVMs. We are in a great place to welcome an experienced veterinarian or provide mentorship to someone looking to learn and grow.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
Compassionate client-centered approach to care
Strong communication and client-education skills
Open to part-time or full-time candidates and we welcome experienced veterinarians or recent graduates looking to learn and grow
