Due to rapid growth and expansion EVSE is looking for Electrical Engineer to step into the business on an on-site full-time role in Silverwater NSW to help us scale and deliver the highest quality products and service to our diverse customer base. you will play a critical role in the design implementation and maintenance of our Electric Vehicle charging systems.
- Pre-Sales Engineering
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and technical documentation.
- Designs (CAD and SketchUp)
- Create detailed CAD and SketchUp designs for EV charging infrastructure ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Electrical Data Analysis for Feasibility Studies:
- Analyze electrical data to assess the feasibility of proposed projects
- Provide input on power distribution load calculations and energy management
- Technical Support:
- Configure software settings and integrate chargers into backend systems
- Set up network connections (4G WiFi LAN) and troubleshoot connectivity
- Collaborate with the support team to onboard chargers into monitoring platforms
- Commissioning:
- Lead the commissioning of EV charging stations ensuring they meet performance and safety standards
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure successful system deployment
- Monitoring and Faults on our Platforms
- Respond to alerts troubleshoot problems and initiate corrective actions
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Valid Drivers Licence and willing to travel to customer sites
- Familiarity with EV chargers switchboards and communications protocols (OCPP a plus)
- Comfortable using software platforms and digital service tools
- Excellent fault-finding communication and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using software for configuration and documentation purposes
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
