Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend participate in and/or review information to discuss results of required evaluations and IEP reports.
Implement individual group classroom consultative services as appropriate to meet the needs of students in their educational programs.
Schedule students effectively efficiently to receive occupational therapy services.
Utilize best practices; evidence based research and appropriate materials to implement therapeutic services.
Consult with educational and other therapy staff parents regarding occupational therapy needs and services in school.
Maintain working student files in accordance with department procedures.
Complete all documentation within required timelines.
Prepare and complete ACCESS billing for eligible students.
Monitor and document student progress based on data collection information.
Submit current treatment schedules and updates as needed to administration.
Ensure and maintain student confidentiality and protect student data in accordance with HIPAA/FERPA regulations and AIU policy.
Demonstrate familiarity with use of email word documents excel and online IEP writing systems as required.
Advise AIU administrative staff of caseload trends district needs and specific student concerns in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively and in accordance with practice act and licensure regulations with supervising occupational therapist/s.
Attend staff meetings in-services and serve on staff committees as required.

Current Act 114 Act 34 Act 151 and NSOR Clearances required prior to an offer (Must be dated within 1 year of hire date).
School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.
