Architectural Design Coordinator Co-op

The salary range for this position is $50000 - $55000. 

• Support and development in Architecture Discipline along the whole Design and Construction Phase.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs from design drawings using excels and Autocad.
• Assisting with work breakdown structures for planning and schedule.
• Assist the architectural design and construction teams when help is needed.
• Assisting in the preparation of requests for proposals (RFPs) estimate and other technical documents. And prepare the comparison tables for selection of contractors.
• Participate and assisting the construction manager and design team in meetings with contractors and designers.
• Assisting in communications with the large group of contractors with requests for informations (RFIs) estimates and other technical documents when necessary.
• Participating in the budget assessment after selection of contractors and reception of quotes.
• Assisting with numerous administrative duties as required.

Qualifications :

• Currently enrolled in relevant program such as Civil Engineering/ Architectural Science/ Construction Management.
• Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents.
• Sound computer skills office 365.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel MS Word and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of ACC is an asset.
• Strong communication skills oral and written.
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work with others as a team.
• Good initiative attention to details.
