Job Summary

This role is being advertised on the potential that the incumbent competes for another role closer to home and will be boarded only if the incumbent is selected for another role.

ROLE

The CSM is the senior Non Commissioned soldier within the sub unit and their principle duties are to set the standards of professionalism and conduct expected from the soldiers within the sub unit and Bn; an understanding of the Armys Values and Standards are key to this.

The CSM will be expected to lead by personal example and possess the professional ability and strength of character to ensure that soldiers follow the example.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure Company is correctly administered in the field and ARC
Liaise with and support the PSIs
Compile and maintain attendance records
Maintain Company parachuting records
Maintain and record ITR records
Support OC
Advise and support NCOs
Support Battalion and Brigade training events
