Job Summary

Job Summary

The Lead Teacher for 45 year olds is responsible for creating a nurturing faith-centered and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the spiritual academic social emotional and physical growth of young children. The Lead Teacher models Catholic values integrates faith into daily instruction and fosters a classroom community rooted in respect kindness and Christian love.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create a safe welcoming and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

  • Establish consistent routines and age-appropriate behavioral expectations.

  • Promote positive social interactions and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Ensure compliance with health safety and licensing regulations.

  • Observe and assess student progress through formal and informal methods.

  • Maintain accurate records of student development and academic growth.

  • Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Job Requirements

  • Practicing Catholic in good standing (preferred or required per diocesan policy).

  • Experience teaching preschool or pre-kindergarten (45 year olds).

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
