As an Assembly Technician you will be responsible for building setting up testing and preparing large high-tech machines before they are shipped to customers. This is a hands-on role where you follow step-by-step instructions and work with tools to ensure the equipment is safe accurate and high quality.
What you will do:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical parts of machines
- Align laser optics and perform machine testing
- Calibrate equipment to make sure it works correctly
- Prepare machines for delivery together with vendors
- Check materials and ensure production schedules are met
- Perform basic maintenance to keep equipment in good condition
- Use simple testing tools to check and fix problems
- Work on more than one type of machine after training
Who this job is for:
- You have a Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
- You enjoy hands-on technical work and building machines
- You can work independently after training
- You are careful safety-minded and take pride in quality work
- You are willing to learn new skills and take on more responsibilities
- You are comfortable working overtime and rotating/night shifts
- Experience in a similar role is a plus but training will be provided
