POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Weekly Fire Pump Churn testing
- Aerial lift (repairs duties required)
- Rack or guard rail repairs if needed
- Painting lines on floor
- Moving internal fencing for layout redesign
- Avidbot floor scrubber activation and maintenance/PM
- Fire extinguisher checks monthly
- Moving furniture
- Hang TVs white boards etc as needed
- Change light bulbs on the plant floor using a scissor lift
- Build holders for scanners on forklifts
- Train coach and manage associates in all policies and procedures of the company
- Keep proper and accurate documentation and records
- Other Duties and responsibilities assigned by management
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Use a variety of hand and power tools electric meters and material handling/ mobile equipment in performing duties.
- Computer skills preferably Microsoft Office Suites Outlook RFID scanning equipment
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles coolant and oils moving mechanical parts and addition the employee is periodically exposed to elevated heights.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The physical requirements for this job directly reflect the essential functions necessary to be successful in this position. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. This position is very active and requires standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching crawling and climbing and sitting throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee will also need to adjust to changes in temperature and noise level
Schedule/ Shift: B Shift -- Hours will be Sunday to Friday 6PM to 4:30AM. OT is required. Flexibility to work other shifts is required.
Location: Dearborn/Detroit MI
Travel Requirements: NONE
Over Time: YES. The shift is 6 days av week.
