Job Description
Job Responsibilities
* Manage and execute material transactions including receiving storing issuing and shipping of components and finished goods.
* Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
* Collaborate with production planning procurement and quality control departments to ensure material availability and resolve supply chain issues.
* Monitor material usage and identify potential shortages or excesses proactively escalating concerns to relevant teams.
* Operate material handling equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
* Ensure proper storage conditions for all materials adhering to company policies safety regulations and quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485).
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow inventory management and warehouse operations.
* Prepare and maintain documentation related to material movements inventory reports and audit trails.
* Support the implementation of new material management systems or processes as required.
Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; an associates degree in supply chain logistics or a related field is a plus.
* 1-3 years of experience in a material handling warehousing or inventory management role preferably within a manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for material management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and material handling.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO standards) is desirable.
* Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain one) is a plus.
