Occupational Medicine MDDO

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Occupational Medicine physician to join our established Occupational Health Services team. This outpatient-focused role emphasizes employee health work-related injury care and employer partnership across a diverse range of industries.

Practice at a Glance

• Focused practice providing occupational medicine injury care preventive services medical surveillance and environmental health services
• Balanced visit mix with approximately 50% occupational health exams and 50% work-related injury care (workers compensation)
• Deliver patient-centered care to employees across a variety of employer partners and industries supporting workforce health and safety
• Provide comprehensive occupational health services and regulatory exams including pre-placement fitness-for-duty return-to-work respiratory DOT and fire fighter exams
• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses supporting safe return-to-work decisions and functional recovery
• Collaborate with employers safety teams and healthcare colleagues on workplace health ergonomics risk assessment and regulatory compliance
• Procedural components include suturing splinting injections (upper and lower extremities) and routine in-office clinical procedures
