Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 10-week assignment at San Ramon Medical Center in San Ramon CA.
This position focuses on providing skilled occupational therapy services by interpreting physician orders performing patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans to improve patient independence and functional outcomes.
The therapist will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to restore daily living skills and help patients regain independence following illness injury or disability.
Requirements

Active California Occupational Therapist License

BLS Certification (AHA)

Ability to interpret physician orders and treatment plans

Experience performing patient testing and clinical measurements

Strong clinical reasoning and treatment modification skills

Ability to develop functional goals based on patient and family needs

Experience improving or restoring ADL function
-
Ability to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Clinical Responsibilities Overview
The Occupational Therapist will:

Interpret physician orders and therapy requests

Administer and interpret clinical tests and patient measurements

Review patient charts and progress prior to treatment
-
Modify therapy plans based on patient response
-
Develop functional goals aligned with patient and family expectations
-
Improve or restore skills related to activities of daily living (ADLs)

Support patient independence and functional recovery
-
Document therapy progress accurately
