This is aFull-Timerole working at our Davis St location in the Old Town area of Portland. You will be working a hybrid schedule Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm 3 days in office 2dayswork from home.
The yearly salary for thePayroll and HR Administrator is$62000.00.
Who You Are
You have at least 2 3 years hands-on experience processing full cycle huge plus if some orall ofthis experience is in non-profit healthcare or unionized organizations.
You are a data detective. Youdontjust enter payroll and HR data; you read and verify it. You are extremely detail oriented and find great satisfaction in reconciling a complex invoice to the penny.
You have a systems mindsetand havean aptitude for understanding how systems work best. You are interested in looking at a workflow and askingIs there a better faster way to do this
You are a calming presence. You understand that pay and benefits are personal and stressful. When an employee comes to you with a problem you bring emotional regulation empathy and a solutions-oriented approach to the conversation. You are comfortable navigating HRIS platforms (a year or more experience processing payroll and/or administering benefits in Paycom is a huge plus!) and youarentafraid of VLOOKUPS or Pivot Tables in Excel.
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus but notrequired.

WhatYoullDo
You will project manage the full lifecycle of semi-monthly payroll for our organization using Asana and Paycom ensuring that employee timecards are asaccurateas possible deductions are correct and that all related payroll tasks are executed efficiently and professionally.
You will be the guardian of our HRIS data conducting regular audits to ensure our personnel files benefits data and learning management records are flawless. You will alsobe responsible formaking regular updates to Paycom on a monthly and sometimes weekly basis.
You will tackle monthly reconciliations of benefit carrier invoices (including our ICHRA medical plans)identifydiscrepancies and solve root-cause errors between our systems and vendor bills.
You will serve as the first point of contact for employee questionsregardingpay benefits and policiesprovidingclear answers and Tier 1 support.
You will partner with the broader people and culture team toidentifyinefficiencies in our current payroll and hr administrative processes and help implement smoother more streamlined project managementsystemsandworkflows.
