Salary: $140K $230K
About the Role
We are seeking a Full-Stack Product Engineer to help build and scale a high-performance automated back-office platform supporting payroll HR and compliance workflows. You will be directly responsible for developing core product features and infrastructure that must be fast reliable and highly resilient.
This is a high-ownership role suited for engineers who thrive in fast-paced startup environments enjoy building from the ground up and take pride in clean scalable code. Youll collaborate closely with executive leadership and play a key role in redesigning and scaling the technical stack as the company targets 10x growth.
What Youll Do

Build performant reliable and fault-tolerant systems capable of processing large-scale financial transactions globally.

Develop new product features and core infrastructure with a strong focus on stability and performance.

Help scale the platform by 10x over the next year.

Take ownership of major technical initiatives including redesigning and evolving the tech stack.

Collaborate directly with engineering leadership and company executives.

Work on-site in New York City and actively contribute to a highly collaborative in-person team.
Qualifications

Strong experience building production-grade full-stack or backend systems.

Proven ability to design scalable high-availability systems.

Experience working in fast-moving startup environments with high ownership.

Strong engineering craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Comfortable working on-site five days per week in NYC.
