Rate of Pay: 17.28 - 23.01 per hour
Summary:
The Caretaker will play a frontline role within the Homes & Neighbourhoods service delivering high-quality estate cleaning and caretaking services across council estates. The role involves working independently and as part of a team to maintain safe clean and well-managed communal areas while building positive relationships with residents and ensuring excellent customer care.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake estate caretaking and cleaning duties in line with service standards and management direction
- Work flexibly across multiple estates including weekend rota duties where required
- Complete daily management control records and required documentation
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas shrub beds grassed areas and hard-standing areas
- Carry out minor communal repairs in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines
- Report repairs damage abandoned vehicles illegal parking graffiti and tenancy breaches
Essentials:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience in cleaning or caretaking duties
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to deal with tenant complaints and emergency situations
- Good communication skills to engage effectively with residents

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
