Job Summary
A respected independent school in Berkshire is seeking a reliable and technically confident IT Technician to join their support services team. The Role
You will provide first- and second-line IT support to staff and students ensuring systems run smoothly and technical issues are resolved efficiently. The role is hands-on and varied supporting classroom technology as well as administrative systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing responsive IT support to staff and students
Troubleshooting hardware software and connectivity issues
Supporting classroom and office technology including laptops desktops printers and interactive screens
Managing user accounts devices and permissions
Assisting with system updates backups and routine maintenance
Supporting data protection cybersecurity and safeguarding procedures
Liaising with external IT providers where required
Maintaining accurate records of equipment faults and resolutions
