Job Summary
Position: Veterinary Surgeon (Residency-trained or Board-certified)
in search of a skilled residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Surgeon to enhance a dynamic team within a prestigious specialty and emergency veterinary hospital.
This position offers the opportunity to engage in advanced veterinary practice in a collaborative environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate closely with Emergency and Critical Care veterinarians and a variety of specialists.
- Manage a diverse caseload encompassing emergency care intensive care exotic animal medicine and advanced diagnostic procedures.
- Participate in ongoing clinical research including snakebite studies in partnership with the University of Tennessee and oncology research with Ohio State University.
- Benefit from a robust mentorship culture with active case support and hands-on collaboration to ensure holistic patient management.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology and adhere to gold-standard practices in veterinary medicine.
**Qualifications:**
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification.
- Active veterinary license in good standing.- Completion of a residency program or board certification (DACVS or equivalent).
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality surgical care and fostering collaboration.
- Interest in a multi-specialty emergency and referral practice setting.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on achieving optimal patient outcomes.
