Job Summary
Doubletree by Hilton is seeking a personable and efficient Barista to craft exceptional coffee and tea beverages while delivering outstanding guest service. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for creating memorable guest experiences this role is for you.
Where You Can Make an Impact:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee tea and specialty beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and seating area.
- Greet and interact with guests to provide personalized service.
- Take orders accurately and process transactions promptly.
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed throughout the shift.
- Adhere to food safety and health guidelines.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor and maintain coffee equipment to ensure functionality.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- Provide suggestions or recommendations to guests for beverage options.
Requirements
Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a barista or food service role preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
- Flexibility to work early mornings weekends and holidays.
