This Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist role in Richmond provides a brilliant opportunity to gain practical school-based experience before undertaking postgraduate training. As an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist you will work with pupils who have communication or speech difficulties helping them to develop their confidence and express themselves more effectively.

In this Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist role youll support teaching staff SENCOs and therapists to deliver tailored interventions and communication programmes. Youll learn how to use visual aids assistive technology and speech exercises to support children with additional needs.

The Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist role is ideal for graduates with an interest in linguistics psychology or child development who are eager to make a tangible difference to childrens lives.

The Role:

Support pupils with speech language and communication needs
Assist with structured interventions and communication activities
Work collaboratively with SEN and therapy staff
Hours: 08:3015:30 (term-time only)

Were Looking For:

Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology Linguistics English or related subject
Interest in child communication and SEN
Empathetic patient and proactive attitude
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply
