Job Summary
Job Title: CNC Machinist
Position Overview
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to support precision manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for setting up programming and operating CNC Mills and Lathes to produce high-quality components while meeting safety quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complete machine setups and operate CNC Mills and Lathes (HAAS equipment preferred)
Program parts directly from prints or 3D models using GibbsCam
Machine components involving rotating machinery split parts and bearing assemblies
Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality
Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances
Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines
Position Requirements
Proven experience machining rotating equipment split components and bearings
Strong ability to perform full CNC setup and operation on Mills and Lathes
Experience programming from prints or models using GibbsCam (required)
Familiarity with HAAS CNC machines preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently or as part of a team
Shifts
Day Shift: 6:00 AM 3:30 PM (10-hour shifts; some Saturdays; OT as needed)
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM Midnight (12-hour shifts; OT as needed)
