Join WoodSpring Suites Cleveland as an Area Maintenance Engineer where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our property. You will be responsible for performing maintenance repairs and preventative upkeep to keep our facilities running smoothly and delivering a comfortable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plumbing electrical HVAC and general building systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety and building codes on all repairs and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders.
- Collaborate with management and other team members to plan maintenance schedules and upgrades.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergencies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering building maintenance or a related field.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC electrical plumbing and other mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a teamwork-oriented mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
