SEJ Services is seeking an Implementation Manager to join the team in the Columbia SC area. The successful candidate will assist with new account startups fill in manager roles and support branches. The ideal candidate will have janitorial or implementation industry management experience strong attention to detail and superior managerial skills. The candidate must also have excellent organizational proactive communication problem-solving and decision-making skills.
The position reports to the Director of Implementation and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
- Travel to new or struggling accounts throughout the southeast.
- Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; training planning monitoring and appraising job results; coaching counseling and disciplining employees; developing coordinating and enforcing systems policies procedures and productivity standards
- Accomplishes financial objectives by monitoring labor hours and supply inventories
- Conducts facility walkthroughs to inspect the quality of work and safety compliance. All issues will be discussed with the janitorial crew and managed through the online work order system.
- Meets with customers to discuss issues and foster a positive relationship by having a strong customer service mentality.
- Responds to ALL calls for assigned accounts at all times (this includes nights and weekends if necessary)
- Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; being proactive in identifying and preventing potential problems; recommending operational improvements.
- Assist with all hiring training coaching and counseling of employees and provide timely feedback to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Oversee the training and development of branch staff; helping staff take responsibility for and have autonomy in decision-making and creative problem-solving
- Collects required information from new account customers and completes account set up process including data input verifying references and documentation. Applies information for a successful start-up
Requirements:
- Willing to travel as needed (new accounts fill in management)
- Ability to adapt and assess situations promptly and efficiently
- Experience in janitorial or implementation preferred
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
- 401K: SEJ Services does a Safe Harbor match of 100% of your plan contributions up to 4% of compensation.
- Health Insurance: Company offers medical dental vision life short-term disability long-term disability accident and critical illness insurance policies to employees and dependents. The company contributes $205.86/month to employee-only medical coverage and up to $30/month to the total amount of monthly premiums for supplemental plans elected.
