A well-established and highly reputable electrical engineering and power solutions provider is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (Electrical) to lead and manage its engineering function. This role is suited to a senior professional with strong technical depth leadership capability and experience in complex electrical engineering projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Lead manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers
Oversee the full engineering lifecycle from concept design through to implementation and commissioning
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards codes and quality systems
Provide technical governance design approval and risk management across projects
Collaborate with project management procurement and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery
Drive continuous improvement innovation and operational efficiency within the engineering department

Minimum Requirements:

BEng Electrical Engineering (essential)
Professionally registered or eligible for registration (advantageous)
Proven experience in an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering leadership role
Strong background in electrical engineering projects preferably within power generation substations or industrial environments
Demonstrated ability to manage teams budgets and multiple projects concurrently
Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills
