Essential Job Functions

• Assist ELL students individually and in small groups in the classroom (letter naming sounds sight wordssegmenting blending number ID oral counting comprehension grammar etc.)
• Work with small groups outside of the classroom on targeted skills (see above) and language/vocabulary development
• Weekly/periodic progress monitoring of students skills and progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify areas of focus for groups/individual students
• Attend meetings when applicable
• Work with BMS staff to help support MLL students
• Assist with lunch duty

Qualifications Profile

• Multi-lingual preferred

• Highly Qualified: 2 years college credits or equivalent (ParaPro)

Salary Range: $32266 - $47397
