Job Summary

Our client is looking for experienced Fitter/Turners to join their team ASAP. Please note that this role is ongoing work and only 1 day a week (Saturday).

Role Overview

Takanini Auckland
Saturday only (1-day work per week)
$35 per hour
5am to 5pm - some days you could finish early if job is completed for the day
Start ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on feedmill machinery and plant equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
Fabricate modify and install components as required
Perform fitting turning welding and machining tasks
Ensure all work is completed to safety quality and food grade standards
Work closely with production and engineering teams to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements:

Trade qualified Fitter/Turner (level 4 cert)
Experience in an industrial manufacturing or processing environment
Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Safety focused with a high attention to detail
Bearing & Turner fitting and repairs experience essential!
