• Permanent Nightshift based out of our Porirua Depot with work around Wellington region

• Weekly wages with more earning potential through paid overtime

• Multiple roles available for dedicated Nightshift team

The opportunity

Its an important job maintaining our most precious assets - water health and the environment and heres your chance to be involved.

Our water teams play a critical role in ensuring a continual supply of quality water with minimal interruptions to communities. No two days will be the same as you head out across the Wellington region undertaking a mix of planned and reactive works where youll:

• Install and repair water connections on all sizes of mains

• Work on jobs of all shapes and sizes

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with trade practice

• Flush and charge water mains

• Work together with various teams and contractors to achieve results

• Become part of a dedicated nightshift crew working five nights a week from Sunday through to Thursday with shifts running from 8pm to 6am.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience in the water industry with the ability to use hand tools small plant and machinery

• A reliable hard-working and can-do attitude.

• The ability to use technology (i.e. iPad or tablet) to record information.

• An understanding and commitment to health and safety in the workplace.

• A full clean drivers NZ class 1 Licence is a must & class 2 WTR is an added benefit.

• Enjoy working outdoors and can complete manual labour tasks.
