Opening Drive Thru Barista

CURRENT OPENING FOR MORNING DRIVE THRU OPENER

-Compensation based on experience (entry level - $8/hr).

-Candidate must be available *6am-12pm* at least 2-3 shifts per week - required to work occasional Saturday/Sunday.

-Candidate must be willing to cross-train as host/barista and be flexible for position needs after training period.

-Candidate must be reliable and punctual arriving on time for opening shift when scheduled.

We are open seven days a week.

(Drive Thru Opens Daily at 6:30am closes at 7pm Monday-Friday and closes at 3pm Saturday-Sunday.)

Dining Room:

Monday-Friday 7am-8pm

Saturday-Sunday 7am-3:00pm

Responsibilities as Drive Thru Opener:

• Prepare initial coffee brew for the entire restaurant following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso blended drinks and lattes.
• Arrive at 6AM to prepare Drive Thru for opening at 6:30AM.
• Replenish coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment maintaining supplies.
• Uphold company food safety food handling and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members.
• Utilize MerryChef equipment for hot Grub-On-The-Go items available in our Drive Thru.
• Keep equipment operating by following instructions troubleshooting and performing or calling for necessary maintenance.
• Bake pastry products when necessary.
• Greet all JavaVino guests by being attentive to them as soon as they arrive.
• Create a welcoming environment for guests when appropriate refer to guests by their names.
• Say yes! Always try to find ways to accommodate a request.
• Assist Front of House staff during busy periods/high volume weekends.
• Find cleaning tasks and other necessary duties when able.
