Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Salesforce Developer to design build and deliver scalable solutions across the Salesforce platform with a strong focus on Public Sector Solutions and OmniStudio. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with deep technical expertise a solid understanding of Salesforce best practices and experience working in fast-paced Agile environments.

This is a remote role; however candidates must reside in the DC Maryland or Virginia (DMV) area to support occasional in-person client and team engagements.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

• Must reside in the DC Maryland or Virginia (DMV) area

• Bachelors degree

• 3 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with demonstrated project success

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture data model and security framework

• Hands-on experience with Apex Lightning Web Components Flows and integrations

• Experience working in Agile development environments using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a distributed cross-functional team

Required Certifications

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

• Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer or Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Consultant

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification

• Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification

• Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions

• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD workflows

• Familiarity with Experience Cloud development and digital experiences

• Prior experience supporting government or public sector clients

• Willingness to maintain existing certifications and obtain additional Salesforce certifications as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and implement scalable high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) and OmniStudio

• Build and configure OmniStudio components including FlexCards OmniScripts DataRaptors and Integration Procedures

• Collaborate with business analysts product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design development testing deployment and ongoing support

• Develop and optimize custom Salesforce functionality using Apex classes triggers batch jobs asynchronous processes and REST/SOAP APIs

• Extend and manage the Salesforce data model through custom objects fields relationships and metadata

• Create and maintain technical documentation unit tests and reusable components

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and secure coding standards

• Support data migration and system integrations including data mapping transformation and troubleshooting

• Assist with deployment planning and execution using source control and CI/CD pipelines
