Summary:
The Technician for Catering Equipment plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability safety and efficiency of professional kitchen appliances across commercial foodservice environments. This position involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues with a wide range of equipment including gas and electric cooking systems refrigeration units dishwashers and ice machines.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including gas and electric cooking appliances refrigeration systems dishwashers and ice machines.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
- Respond quickly and effectively to service requests providing timely technical support to maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service logs including repair history parts used and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and operations teams to support seamless daily operations and address equipment-related challenges proactively.
Requirements
- Secondary Education Certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment (mandatory).
- Proven technical proficiency in gas electrical and refrigeration systems.
- Valid Drivers License: YES
- English language proficiency at B2 level or equivalent.

Gross Salary:per month
Duty Hours: 9 hours (8AM5PM).
Overtime Pay: 1.5x regular hourly rate.
Working Days: 5 per week.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Accommodation: Provided for first 2 months; up to 25% of gross salary may be withheld for company dormitory OR employees may share accommodation with colleagues.
Transportation: Provided.
