Join our growth journey! We are seeking an experienced professional within generic pharmaceutical business development and licensing to strengthen our prescription drug pipeline in Northern Europe.

About the job

As Senior Business Development Manager you will play a crucial role in expanding our product pipeline for specialty niche generics in Northern Europe by identifying interesting licensing opportunities. You will identify and evaluate product leads together with internal and external stakeholders until they reach project status.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct thorough product and market analyses to build robust business cases and assess the viability and potential of new product opportunities.
  • Maintaining and expanding a strong network of suppliers and dossier developers.
  • Negotiating license and supply agreements with international partners.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to transition products from ideation to pipeline integration.
  • Traveling internationally to attend industry events and visit suppliers.

You will be joining the Business Development department for the Specialty Rx platform and will report to the Head of in-Licensing Business Development.

Who are you

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree within economics business administration or natural science as well as a proven track record (5 years) of success in business development within the pharmaceutical industry. You must reside in an EU country where Orifarm has an established office.

In addition we envision that you bring the following:

  • A team-oriented approach with a solid understanding of cross-functional dynamics and excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a can-do attitude and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to successfully complete initiated tasks.
  • An understanding of the European generic market dynamics and regulatory pathways.
  • Proven experience in building and sustaining a pipeline of complex generic formulations and deal structures is highly advantageous.
  • A well-established network within the industry.
  • Advanced understanding of the European patent legislation and framework with a track record of in-licensing LOE products.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to find common ground ensuring Orifarms best interests.
  • The ability to build and maintain partnerships with international partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and preferably one other European language.
  • IT competences: Microsoft office and Power BI.

Job Location

You are joining a team that is spread across Northern Europe. You can work from home and are expected to join face-to-face meetings in Odense Denmark at least once per month.
