Description

We are looking for a skilled and experiencedFull tack Developer with interest indesigning and building tools to work with dietary and nutrient data.

The Research Group for Nutrition Sustainability and Health Promotion manages the design implementation processing analysis and communication of dietary surveys and manages the Danish food composition database. The Research Group has a dynamic staff with both national and international visibility and many research collaborations with other universities and organizations. The group consists of around 30 colleagues with diverse professional backgrounds including nutritionists data analysts data scientists epidemiologists advisors and researchers. We work closely together in cross-disciplinary teams combining scientific expertise with strong technical and analytical skills to deliver high-quality research and consultancy.

The job
Primary areas of responsibility will be

  • To design and build tools to work with dietary and nutrient data
  • Building tools to consume and publish data from data warehouse and data lakes
  • to build tools to collect data from dietary surveys.

Our expectations of you
We expect you to either hold an academic degree or other relevant education within the field of computer science natural science or another related field

We are looking for a candidate that has documented experience working with:

  • Frameworks such as Flask/Laravel PHP Python
  • Front end frameworks like React or Vue Gitt Kubernetes/containerization
  • Working with databases such as MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL/MSSQL.

It will be an advantage if you have experience with using:

  • Dashboard design
  • R.

The ideal candidate has the capacity to work as part of a team to communicate well and be flexible.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC) orin accordance with the LC/CO10 Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for IT employees (Prosa) in the service of the state.

The position will be tailored to the selected candidates qualifications and background.

The position is a temporary full-time position. Starting date is 1 March 2026 (or according to mutual agreement) and end date is 31 December 2030.

The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
