We are looking for two highly skilled and motivated scientists for our program within carbohydrate chemistry glycobiology and vaccine design.
You will join the team working on carbohydrate-based vaccines for cancer and infectious diseases. We are looking for creative minds with excellent practical lab skills to design smart syntheses and biological studies.
Responsibilities and qualifications
The main responsibilities are either 1) to design and execute synthetic routes to glycoconjugates or 2) to plan and execute in vitro and in vivo studies of vaccines. You will join a research lab with a broad interest in chemical biology and a long-standing interest in glycobiology and glycan-based vaccines. Undergraduate and PhD research projects can be integrated in the projects and you are expected to interact with and co-supervise those projects. Additionally some teaching responsibilities can be expected.

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment is 2 years. The expected starting date is June 1 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The positions are full-time.
