Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the installation integration and maintenance of Digital Solution products including integration to a production machine
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain expert status in one or more software solutions required for proper machine integrations
- Create execute and maintain seamless integration between suppliers of software computer hardware and machines
- Support customers bringing problems and questions to fast and efficient resolution and if necessary travel onsite to bring resolutions to problems
- Troubleshoot problems/issues for customers and onsite integrators resolve Software Integration and vendor support issues
- Perform onsite software integrations and installations
- Train document mentor and advise new and existing employees on software integration products services and practices
- Document installation integration and support process
- Assist with he educational aspect of software and software integration for customers as well as other team members
- Train customers (remotely or onsite) to a competent level in Digital Solutions products
- Administer pre-requisite material to customer in keeping with seamless integration process
- Work with development teams to resolve current issues and plan for future software development
- Assist with product training machinery demonstrations and development of Help Files and Software Documentation (creation and maintenance)
- Act as a direct liaison to software suppliers to resolve technical issues and address development concerns
- Coordinate and participate in demonstrations to enhance machine and systems sales
- Work with Stiles education BU to create and maintain educational material and respective digital solutions
- Other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- College and/or Technical Degree in Engineering or Computer Science Software Engineering/Programming/Development preferred
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Basic computer programming skills
- Previous professional experience in the software woodworking or a related field preferred
- Experience with CAD/CAM solutions preferred
- Willingness to travel domestically / internationally
