Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Full-Time Program Clerk to join our dynamic Collectionsteam in Vancouver.
The Collectionsteam is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by collecting donor blood in a safe manner to enable safe products which save lives every this role you will assist in the collection of blood and blood products by adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring that all required documentation is carried out. You will play an integral part in building and promoting a positive donor experience and encouraging donations.
Utilizing your superb organization skills you will maintain and update controlled document binders as well as maintain and update training records by tracking professional certification dates.
Drawing on your experience and administrative skills you will set up and maintain staff training schedules take minutes for meetings and assist with preparing information packages for promotions of the program.
With your excellent interpersonal skills you will provide clerical support to department trainers and assist in New Employee Orientation.
Drawing on your ability to be detail-oriented you will prepare and distribute training materials while ensuring return for compliance; you will also use your attention to detail to verify donor donation history using eProgesa and process post donation clinic forms.
Completion of grade 12 with two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
Ability to type at 45 words per minute with advanced Excel skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
