What Youll Be Doing
- Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure safe efficient and consistent production while supporting continuous improvement and housekeeping initiatives
- Perform routine inspections maintenance and troubleshooting; identify and report mechanical or operational issues to maintenance and management
- Enforce safety environmental and quality procedures by conducting daily safety meetings hazard assessments and site inspections
- Provide hands-on supervision and support to crushing crew members equipment operators and labourers to maintain material flow quality and production targets
- Train mentor and support crew members to enhance skills safety awareness and overall productivity
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively operate mining and aggregate equipment in a production environment
- Strong commitment to safety leading by example and consistently following procedures to promote a positive safety culture
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues
- Physically capable dependable adaptable and able to prioritize tasks in a demanding fastpaced setting
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with experience in aggregate operations (including cone crushers jaws screens and conveyors) and a preference for prior leadership experience
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
