Job Summary
Seeking FNP with Peds experience.
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for patients maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required. Works as a team with our nurses and physicians and will assist in delivering premium care to each and every patient.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
Updates patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
Analyzes test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
Delivers quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
Serves as the resource patients need for ongoing care information counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
Maintains current knowledge of clinical practice
Education: Masters in Nursing required.
License/Certification:Nurse Practitioner (NP) Required Basic Life Support (CPR) Required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
Ability to operate and handle many kinds of complex equipment
Ability to demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in caring for all ages of patients.
Ability communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of theory principles techniques and practice of professional nursing; of scientific principles and nursing research; of preparation administration and actions of medications; of treatments and medical procedures; of counseling and teaching techniques; of medical equipment as it related to patient care.
