Job Summary
Job Title: Nurse Manager RN

Position Type: Full-time
Role Summary:
The Nurse Manager (RN) is responsible for ensuring safe effective and age-appropriate patient care during all hours of unit operation. This role provides leadership and operational oversight for the Neuroscience Unit while serving as a role model advisor and clinical resource for members of the patient care team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and operational management for the Neuroscience Unit.
- Ensure delivery of safe high-quality patient-centered care.
- Supervise and support nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Serve as a mentor advisor and role model for nursing staff.
- Coordinate patient care activities and promote efficient workflow within the unit.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of direct Neuro Nursing experience
- At least 3 years of Hospital Nurse Management experience
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required
- Masters Degree in Nursing or related field Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current Maryland RN License or eligibility to obtain a Maryland license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 90 days of hire
