Contract Manager ( Deferred Maintenance)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Develop project plans to manage vendors and execute projects with established milestones routine oversight of project execution in the field and consistent stakeholder coordination.
• Meet with the clients customer representative to clarify define and develop scope of work budget and schedule requirements.
• Work Order Management: Coordinates the development of contracts and work orders by developing detailed scopes of work Requests for Proposals reviewing contractor proposals and processing work order packages.
• Provide contract management and administration to assist to solicit issue and manage Job Order Contracts and other contract delivery methods.
• Identify and resolve problems and issues before they become critical and keep the client and the customer department informed of on-going project status including cost schedule and other issues. The Project manager is responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of the project(s) and responsible for schedule cost and customer approval.
• Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project or program-level schedules.
• Reporting: Provide weekly status reports for ISD leadership and County stakeholders.
• Other Related assignments as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree is required. Architecture engineering construction management or related field is preferred.
• Must have at least five (5) years experience within the last eight (8) years providing construction/project management consulting services including repair maintenance or refurbishment of existing governmental and institutional-type facilities.
• Journey-level Job Order Contract administrative experience in a government agency.
• Thorough understanding of contracts documents drawings and specifications and applied experience in the areas of project accounting cost administrative and personnel interaction in professional settings are required.
• Strong communication and team management skills and the the ability to thrive in a fast-paced intense environment.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products including advanced Excel skills and cloud-based management software.
• Proficiency with various document control systems as well as new construction and modernization of government facilities is preferred.
