About the Role
The HP Tech 1 Welder is responsible for welding assembling cleaning and inspecting highpurity and industrial components in a controlled cleanroom environment. This role requires strong attention to detail the ability to learn multiple processes and adherence to strict quality and cleanliness standards.
Location: Farmington CT
Shift: 3rd Shift
Department: High Purity Production
Key Responsibilities
- Weld solid and porous metal products to specification
- Assemble components and prepare parts for welding
- Clean all solid subassemblies prior to welding
- Brush oxidation from welds after welding operations
- Perform leak testing and required quality inspections
- Shear and form solid and porous metals to specification
- Pinmark information on hardware as needed
- Maintain qualification to Mott MES welding specifications
- Uphold cleanroom standards and follow all QMS procedures
- Properly clean handle and prepare components
Major Challenges
- Learning multiple processes and operating a variety of equipment
- Maintaining strict adherence to highpurity cleanliness requirements
Required Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 13 years of manufacturing experience in TIG welding
- Experience with TIG welding equipment is strongly beneficial
Technical Knowledge & Skills
- TIG Welding proficiency
- Blueprint reading and comprehension
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use inspection tools

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $37500.00 - $56300.00 depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.Benefits Package
